nhi. THE STADIUM WENT SILENT.As the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens geared up for war under the lights…A different kind of thunder struck.

Taylor Swift is getting things ready for her album, and she made an announcement before the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Baltimore Ravens game.

Taylor Swift, yes, is engaged to Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, and she’s a regular at his home games. The Chiefs are going to need her luck when they play the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, September 28, because even though the Chiefs have beaten the Ravens many times, this time around, the Ravens are hungry and angry after a surprise loss to the Detroit Lions during Monday Night Football.

On top of cheering for Kelce, Swift has been keeping busy with her music. She’s set to release a new album, “Life of a Showgirl,” on October 3, and she’s been announcing plenty of events and appearances leading up to the release of the set. One cool thing Swift is going for the release is having select Target stores open at midnight local time on October 3 to sell copies of Swift’s new album. According to Variety, 500 stores will be taking part in the midnight sales. It totally takes one back to the days of the local record store and all of the nostalgic Record Store Day events that happen annually.

But, there’s another special announcement that Swift just made, a few days before the Ravens game. This one has to do with her album release, too.

Kelce’s soon-to-be-wife is coming back to late-night. Swift will make an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday, Oct. 6, three days after “The Life of a Showgirl” drops. NBC announced the news on Thursday, Sept. 25, and stated in a release that Swift will be on the show with actress Keri Russell. The musical guest for that night will be The Format.

Swift is no stranger to “The Tonight Show,” and her upcoming appearance will mark het seventh time on the program.

So, will Kelce be at the show, too? He definitely won’t, since the Kansas City Chiefs are playing Monday Night Football on Oct. 6, up against the Jags. So, don’t expect Swift to be at that game, either.

Swift is having lots of fun with her album release. She took to social media on September 19, to announce that she’s inviting you to a “dazzling soirée” and “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl,” which is set for October 3 through 5, only in cinemas.

“You’ll get to see the exclusive world premiere of the music video for my new single ‘The Fate of Ophelia,’ along with never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made it, cut by cut explanations of what inspired this music, and the brand new lyric videos from my new album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl,’” she adds in the post with a fire-heart emoji. “Looks like it’s time to brush off that Eras Tour outfit or orange cardigan… Tickets are on sale now. Dancing is optional but very much encouraged.”

She adds that “showtimes may vary, so check your local listings.” Also, tickets are limited and available at the release party’s site.
