ST.Couple Trying for Fourth Baby Welcomes Sextuplets, Expands Family to 11

Courtney and her husband Eric experienced a life-changing surprise when their family grew from three children to nine in a single pregnancy.
The couple, who already had their eldest son Saylor and twin boys Wales and Bridge, were expecting one more baby but instead learned they were having sextuplets: sons Blu, Tag, and Layke, and daughters Rawlings, Rayne, and Rivers.
The news came as a shock. “We were trying for a fourth, but we never imagined we’d be adding six more at once,” Courtney said.
Born prematurely at 30 weeks, the sextuplets each weighed between 2 and 3 pounds.
“We love every moment, but feeding them around the clock is something else entirely,” Courtney added.
Eric noted, “It’s a new level of exhaustion. They’re thriving, even during the times we feel like we might lose our minds.”
Despite the overwhelming challenge, the couple is managing to care for their six youngest children—now starting to walk—alongside their three older boys.
“If you had asked me how I felt when I found out about six babies, I would have thought it impossible,” Eric said. “It’s hard, but you adapt and make it work. It’s the new normal. I come home, jump right in, and before I know it, it’s midnight. The surprise is that we made it through the first nine months.”
