Kelsey Grammer has revealed he has welcomed his eighth child with his fourth wife, Kayte Walsh.

Grammer and Walsh have been married for 14 years and have three kids together already – 12-year-old Faith and sons Gabriel, 10 and James, eight.

The couple first met in 2009 when Walsh was working as a flight attendant on the X-Men star’s flight to London, where they went out ‘for a coffee several days later’, according to the 70-year-old. They later got married in 2011.

As well as his children with Walsh, Grammer is also dad to 41-year-old Spencer, whom he shares with his first wife, Doreen Alderman and 33-year-old Greer, with Barrie Buckner. He also has two other children – Mason, 23 and Jude, 20 – with ex Camille Grammer.

The 70-year-old actor announced the happy news on Monday’s (October 27) episode of Pod Meets World, explaining he had welcomed a boy with 46-year-old Walsh.

“Just had our fourth one, so it just became eight kids!” Grammer said. “It was like three days ago. Christopher, that’s just joined the family.”

Earlier this year, the Frasier star opened up about parenting, revealing he was working on his relationship with his eldest kids after ‘neglecting’ them at times.

“I have neglected a couple of the kids in my life, especially the first two,” he told PEOPLE. “I’m trying to make up for a little of it now. I’m still their dad, so you can always have [a] chance to show up. I probably should have been a little more clear and maybe less tolerant with the older ones.

“I’m pretty tolerant with the young ones, but I’m clear about how there’s certain expectations and certain ways to navigate through a social situation: keep it close to the vest and play it straight, and you’re going to be well-served in your life.

“I’m a little more specific with them about doing their studies and being prepared. [I tell them], ‘What’s your job in life? Showing up.'”

Grammer has also starred alongside his kids, acting opposite Greer during season two of the Paramount+ revival of Frasier. Meanwhile, in 2022, he co-starred alongside Spencer in The 12 Days of Christmas Eve.

“Kayte and I were talking about how it’s really something that a child would follow in their father’s footsteps,” Kelsey told Variety. “To think that all my kids, at least the ones that have a hand in the air, are ready to take responsibility for their lives, are all drawn to this industry.

“And she [Walsh] said, ‘That’s something to be proud of.’ It’s something I’ve never told them. I’m hoping they’re going to read [my upcoming memoir] and realize, ‘Oh, so Dad’s okay with this’.

“Because I never wanted to push myself on them. I never wanted to force them into the industry or intrude too much into their process. Because it’s a bit of a mixed blessing to have my last name. People take it out on you. You get some attention maybe because of it. And there’s a split as to whether or not it’s good or bad.”

Grammer had been speaking with Pod Meets World while discussing his memoir, Karen: A Brother Remembers, which he wrote in memory of his sister, Karen, who was tragically kidnapped and murdered at the age of 18.

Stellan Skarsgård, the father of one of the world’s most well-known families of actors, has shared his thoughts on a nickname ‘cruel’ kids have given to his youngest child.

As the family’s patriarch, Stellan is a highly respected Swedish actor with an international career spanning both European cinema and Hollywood.

The 74-year-old has appeared in a number of acclaimed films, such as Good Will Hunting, Mamma Mia!, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Chernobyl.

His legacy continues through his eight children – two of which he shares with current wife Megan Everett-Skarsgård and six with ex-wife My Skarsgård – several of whom have made their own mark in acting.

The eldest, Alexander Skarsgård, 49, is one of the the most famous, having gained global recognition for his roles in True Blood, Big Little Lies, The Northman, and Succession.

Gustaf Skarsgård, 44, is known for his captivating portrayal of Floki in Vikings and as Karl Strand in Westworld.

Meanwhile, Bill Skarsgård, 35, has become widely recognized for his chilling performance as Pennywise the Clown in It, as well as roles in Hemlock Grove.

Valter Skarsgård, 29, has built a growing career in Swedish film and television, with notable appearances in Black Lake and Lords of Chaos.

Stellan’s youngest son, 13-year-old Kolbjörn Skarsgård, has already started to make his own mark in the acting world. But it seems Kolbjörn’s impressive career has yet to win over his classmates who have given him a nickname because of his connections.

In a new interview with Vulture, Stellan said his teen son gets ‘so sad’ and is ‘isolated’ from his classmates as they call him a ‘nepo baby’ – a term for a child with successful parents.

It suggests that the only reason why they’re able to be successful in the same industry is due to nepotism, or favoritism based on family connections, rather than talent.

When asked if he would consider his children ‘nepo babies’, Stellan told the outlet: “No. I consider myself a nepo daddy because I get so much goodwill and maybe jobs because of them.”

He went on: “My 13-year-old, Kolbjörn, the youngest, suffers from that. When his pals at school call him nepo baby, he gets so sad. He doesn’t have any friends at school.

“He gets isolated. Cruel kids – or cruel and ignorant. They love it on the internet. But it is such a bulls**t thing. Because nobody would hire you, at least not for anything good, if you’re not good enough.”

Kolbjörn made his onscreen debut at just nine years old in the 2022 Netflix series Clark, which also starred his half-brother Bill as an older version of his character.

The teen has since landed a role in the upcoming 2025 Swedish horror series Blood Cruise, signaling a promising start to his career. Even if his classmates aren’t the biggest fans…
