TRAVIS Kelce left fans worried after an awkward landing on the field this weekend.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end hit the ground head first against the Detroit Lions.

Kelce, 36, caught a pass from Patrick Mahomes and looked set to reach the end zone for a touchdown.
But he was tackled by Lions cornerback Rock Ya-Sin just short.
And the tight end was flipped upside down before landing on his head.
Fans watching the game Sunday night couldn’t believe there was no check on Kelce’s health.

One said, “How is kelce not being checked for a concussion, he looked spacey after that head plant.”
Another commented, “How is Kelce not in concussion tent???”
While a third posted, “Seriously, how did they not do a concussion check on Kelce after bouncing on his head?”
And a fourth said, “Put Kelce in the tent, he landed on his head.”

Kelce was the Chiefs’ top receiver in their win Sunday night.

He had six catches for 78 yards from his seven targets.
And the Chiefs beat the Lions 30-17 to improve to 3-3 this season.
Kelce was supported by Taylor Swift for the game at Arrowhead Stadium.
He spoke to ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt on SportsCenter after the win.

Kelce said, “It was a short week for us and it’s always tough.
“This Lions team is tough but we were fired up to experience this challenge.
“We went out there and put a 30-ball on that defense and that’s not an easy thing to do.
“I can’t tell you how proud I am of these guys for finding a way to get it done.
“In this building, you get challenged every single week.

“We don’t really pay attention to the record, it’s all about the now and coach Reid does a great job of challenging us to get ready for our next opponent.
“When we play all four quarters with that kind of feel and fire, we know we’re a tough team to beat.”
