Megan Moroney was left in awe over the “insane” birthday present she received from her good pal, Kenny Chesney.

Moroney also received a one-of-a-kind gift from another one of her closest friends, Kenny Chesney. She shared a photo of his thoughtful present on her Instagram Story.
Chesney gave Moroney a vintage 1984 Gibson Hummingbird guitar. That was cool enough on its own—but it was made extra special because the one and only Dolly Parton signed the back with a personalized message for Moroney.
“@kennychesney with the most insane bday gift,” a stunned Moroney wrote over an image of the Parton-autographed guitar. “a vintage 1984 hummingbird signed by Dolly…screaming, crying, throwing up.”

Kenny Chesney And Megan Moroney Are Friends And Duet Partners
Moroney opened for Chesney on tour in 2024, and they became fast friends. She famously pranked him at the end of the tour by dressing up in his signature style and riding a toy tractor onstage when he sang “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy.”
The pair kept in touch after the tour ended. They teamed up to release a live version of Moroney’s hit song, “Am I Okay?” The recording came from a special moment when they performed the song together on Chesney’s tour.
Then, in May, Moroney and Chesney released their new duet, “You Had to Be There.” The song serves as the lead single from Moroney’s upcoming third studio album.
The track has climbed as high as the 23rd spot on the Country Airplay chart and risen to #25 on the Hot Country Songs chart. Additionally, it was nominated for Musical Event of the Year at the 2025 CMA Awards, which will be held on November 19th.
