VT. Steelers Icon Terry Bradshaw Explodes on Live TV: Calls Out the “Blatantly Rigged” Officiating Decision That He Says Stole Pittsburgh’s Win — Fans Outraged, NFL Scrambles to Respond

In the aftermath of the Steelers’ heartbreaking 28–31 loss to the Chicago Bears, franchise legend Terry Bradshaw has stepped forward and pointed directly at one moment he believes completely changed the game, the controversial 4th-and-1 tush push that was ruled short despite replay angles showing the ball clearly across the line.

The play happened early, with the Steelers leading 14–7. Pittsburgh executed their tush-push perfectly, gained enough forward movement for what appeared to be a first down, and began to line up for the next snap,

until officials suddenly reversed everything.

The call wiped away what should’ve been a fresh set of downs in Bears territory and instead handed Chicago the ball. The Bears marched down the field and tied the game 14–14, a momentum swing that Bradshaw insists “changed everything.”

Many fans believe the emotional impact of the reversed call rattled the team, leading to sloppy execution and inconsistency for the rest of the afternoon.

Terry Bradshaw did not hold back:

“That was a first down, period. You can freeze the frame, slow it down, rewind it 50 times… it doesn’t matter. He got it.

When a call that obvious gets taken away, you’re not just changing a spot, you’re changing the entire game.
You could feel the air go out of the Steelers after that.”

Bradshaw went even further, suggesting the officials’ hesitation and late whistle only made the situation worse:

“I’ve played in this league long enough to know a momentum killer when I see one.

The Steelers earned that first down. They didn’t get beat, they got undone by a bad decision.”

Whether fans agree with Bradshaw or not, one thing is certain: that single call became the turning point, eventually paving the way for Chicago’s comeback and leaving Steelers Nation furious after what felt like a stolen win.
