ss BREAKING NEWS: CeeDee Lamb reveals “the best part” about playing alongside George Pickens following huge Cowboys win.

As Dak Prescott ran off the field following a 44-22 win over the division rival Washington Commanders, he said, “That’s a huge one.” It wouldn’t have been possible without the big day wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens had in their first full game together since Week 2.

Lamb finished with 110 receiving yards, most of which came from a 74-yard touchdown. Meanwhile, Pickens had a four-catch performance for 82 yards, two of which were spectacular grabs. After the game, Lamb described how much fun the duo is having, noting the “best part” about playing with Pickens.

“We compete with each other every day, and I feel like the best part about it we want each other to win the most,” Lamb told reporters while he and Pickens did a joint interview with reporters.

After the Cowboys traded for Pickens in May, Lamb went viral when he told the media his new teammate wouldn’t be the offense’s No. 2, but rather they would be co-ones. At the time, it felt like a good teammate’s gesture more than it did a fact. But after seeing Pickens perform at a high level with and without Lamb on the field, it’s starting to feel like CeeDee was right all along.

“It’s exciting,” Lamb said about his return to the field after missing three games due to injury. “Watching (Pickens) go crazy for the last four weeks, I’m pretty sure he enjoyed it. But just taking the load off of him a little bit and making him play true to the offense and to what he have got going, it’s fun.”

Pickens explains why connection with Lamb is even better now

Pickens was asked how different it had been to be out on the field with Lamb in Week 7 versus what it had been like earlier in the season when he was just finding his rhythm on the Cowboys’ offense.

“I would definitely say more explosive,” Pickens said. “Having him back and (KaVontae Turpin), and a few other guys. It makes the offense explosive. Kind of like he said, you have to be true to the offense. When you have all of us out there, you can’t guard all of us.”

Not only are they dominating, but the Cowboys’ wideouts are having fun. On Sunday, it translated into the team’s third win of the season and one that puts them in second place in the NFC East.
